Meet Meagan & Amanda
Welcome to Homeschool Moms Unfiltered, where we keep it real for modern homeschoolers.
We’re not your typical podcast. Tired of the shiny, perfect facade? So are we. Join us as we dive into the messy, unfiltered reality of homeschooling. From navigating curriculum chaos to dealing with daily life challenges, we’re here to share our raw experiences and unfiltered thoughts. Tune in for honest conversations for homeschool parents like you. Expect progressive views, an occasional *&!%$, a welcoming community, and a whole lot of relatability. Let’s embrace this wonderfully imperfect journey together.
Meet Meagan
Hello and welcome! I am a veteran homeschool mom (that’s code for “I have given up covering my grays and hot flashes occur periodically”) to 3 neurodivergent children and 1 very diligent service Bernedoodle. I have homeschooled in 4 states as a result of my husband’s hectic transfer schedule and I will hit the road for just about any adventure on a moment’s notice.
Our household is unique and operates a bit like a European hostel. We are a multi-generational home of 7, so there’s always someone coming, going, eating, and sleeping. It is organized chaos and suits our unschooling ways beautifully!
If you’re seeking support with unschooling, early college access, high school transcripts, or homeschooling neurodivergent kids… I am here for you!
Meet Amanda
Hi… I’m Amanda! I am a full-time homeschooling and part-time worldschooling mom to one
awesome twice exceptional (2e) kiddo.
Our homeschool style is more academic aggressive, but can still be described as eclectic and
infused with interest led learning, online classes, a touch of Charlotte Mason and a dash of
Classical all while also using and abusing our passports any chance we get.
If you have questions related to curriculum, the California homeschool charter system, options for gifted children, homeschooling with a disability and chronic health issues, and education while traveling both domestically and abroad… I am here to help!
